The general consensus is that Manny Pacquiao will defeat Shane Mosley on May 7th. Many of the fans are thinking this, but not everybody. I have spoken with several professional fighters over the past few weeks, and most of them feel as if Mosley may do much better than people are thinking.
Shane Mosley didn't do so well Vs. Mayweather, but he did hurt him pretty bad in the 2nd round. When Mosley fought Mora, he didn't look great but he was fighting a 6ft2 guy that fights like a 5ft2 guy. Mora makes everyone look bad when they fight him. So what could this all mean? Well, its a possibility that Shane has more in the tank than what some people think. But his last two performances were against awkward guys.
On the other hand, Manny Pacquiao continues to steamroll his opponents. He overwhelms his opponents with blistering speed and face busting power. If anyone doubts what Manny Pacquiao can do to a human face, take a look at Antonio Margarito's face the day after he fought him.
If it is true that Mosley isn't all washed up, he could present Pacquiao with some issues. He's fast and he does have some power as well. I am curious as to how Manny will handle Mosley's power. If Mosley rocks him like he rocked Mayweather it could be an interesting night.

One thing is for certain, neither guy likes to retreat. Mosley loves to stand in there and engage his opponents. Pacquiao doesn't mind exchanging blows either. However, I'm guessing that Freddie Roach has told Manny not to stand inside and go punch for punch with Mosley. I don't think that would be too smart. Pacquiao will more than likely use angles and speed, he will get in and get out.
This very possibly could be a much better fight than people think. If I was a betting man, I would bet on Manny Pacquiao in this one. I wouldn't bet everything though.

James Clifton of Canton, MS - "Pacquiao should cruise. He's too fast and he's just too good."
Danny Gotlieb of Star, MS - "Pacman all day on this one. He's faster, and more in his prime."
Steven Brooks of Brandon, MS - "This is a toss up fight. I would not be surprised to see Mosley pull off an upset."
